Tarun has nearly 25 years corporate and consulting experience spanning the US, Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. His experience includes over 10 years with international accounting firms in New Zealand and Europe, and a number of senior executive roles over 10 years with Fosters Group. Tarun is a Fellow of The NZ Institute of Chartered Accountants, Certified Practicing Accountant of Australia, NZ Institute of Directors, Australian Institute of Directors and NZ Asian Leaders.
Avi is a Co-Founder and Managing Director of the Taronga Group of companies. Taronga is an Australian based investment house specialising in technology and real estate related investment for institutional and high net worth clients globally. Prior to Taronga, Avi founded and was Managing Director of Aura Funds Management. Prior to these roles, Avi was an investment banker with a leading independent corporate advisory firm and before that a solicitor in the Mergers & Acquisitions team at King & Wood Mallesons. Avi has significant experience advising public company boards, management and government, and is admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW and the High Court of Australia.
Eric is the co-founder and managing director of Aura Group. Aura is an independent advisory and investment firm with offices in Australia and Singapore. Prior to Aura, Eric worked at Clayton Utz, a top-tier law firm in Australia. At Clayton Utz, Eric focused on the area of private equity and debt finance and had been involved in transactions in excess of AUD$1 billion. He is a solicitor admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of NSW and the High Court of Australia.
Geoff has over 30 years experience leading technology companies, including taking emerging technologies to market. He has held several CEO, CTO and senior executive roles with multinationals including Philips, Bosch, and Sanmina-SCL Corporation. He has worked across Australia, Asia, Europe and North America, commercialising emerging technologies.
Phillip has over 27 years of experience in consulting, venture investments and investment management and has operational experience in Australasia, Asia and the US. He has a passion for entrepreneurship and in the funding, establishment and management of start-ups with disruptive products and services or niche markets. He is a co-founder of Tomizone.
Jonathan has over 20 years of retail and commercial real estate development, management and investment experience including working with owners and operators of shopping centres, office towers and mixed-use developments. Jonathan has held senior executive and investor roles at Mirvac, the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, Areim, ING Real Estate and Savills, working across Australasia, the Middle East, Europe and Asia.
Simon is the Special Adviser to the Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority (EAA) of Abu Dhabi, a role he has occupied since 2013. Simon has been a principal adviser to the senior leadership of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi since 2005, contributing to many of the Emirate’s high profile policy, investment, commercial, sports, branding and marketing initiatives, including his seat on the Board of Manchester City Football Club upon its acquisition by the Abu Dhabi United Group in 2008.
Shadi brings a wealth of technology and product development experience at a global scale and expertise in IOT having lead the product development and partner programs for Skype as Principal Group Program Manager at Microsoft working on company-wide connectivity solutions. In addition to his extensive experience, Shadi holds several patent filings covering areas in networking and geo-location.
