Phillip Joe - Chairman and Co-Founder
MBS (Hons), Dip Bus Admin, CA
Phillip has over 20 years experience in venture investments and management, working with international investors.
He is a co-founder of successful companies operating in niche markets and has joint ventured with major public companies. Phillip brings entrepreneurial acumen, accounting and finance experience, and corporate governance skills having served on private and public company boards.
Phillip leads the financial management and corporate governance of Tomizone as Chairman.
Steve Simms - CEO | President and Co-Founder
Dip Bc, Dip DM
Steve has around 18 years experience in telecommunications, broadcasting, business development and new ventures, including senior roles in Telecom NZ, Vodafone and Telstra.
His strategic vision has re-shaped some of the thinking and business models, particularly in the wireless broadband field. His focus on simplicity and usability means that his design of solutions, also focuses on the customer first. Steve is on the New Zealand Wireless Forum Executive as its President and presents weekly segment on TV3 Sunrise as the Gadget Guy.
Steve leads the Tomizone business strategy with an emphasis on sales and marketing.
Emmanuel Hooson - General Manager - Affiliates
Emmanuel has over 16 years experience in the media industry - Advertising and Broadcasting.
He has held senior roles in Marketing, Programming, Sales and Promotions in New Zealand, Australia and London. His career started with Nine Network Australia and since then he has managed numerous successful Programme, Marketing and Promotions work for BSkyB in the UK, J Walter Thompson and Optus in Sydney, TVNZ and TV4 in New Zealand.
William Hoyle - CTO
ME
William has over 10 years experience leading software development teams in a wide variety of sectors including financial, voice, and messaging.
He has a clear focus on ISP operations, infrastructure and architecture. William leads development of Tomizone's core network and billing platform.
